I went to the gym yesterday as I often do and after doing some circuit training and water aerobics I decided to do a few laps in the pool. It had been a while since I did laps. As I made my way down the lane paying attention to my arm stroke and breathing I had this feeling of being free, but not only free..but strong too. I flew down the lane back and forth and just let the water carry me as I gently propelled myself against it and I was thinking what amazing things God has blessed us with on Earth. Just like the wind, just like the sunshine, just like the water…we can be totally enveloped in its essence. We can feel the wind even though we can’t see it, sunshine can warm and touch us tho we can not touch it, and like water it can fully contain us yet we can not contain it fully. Many things on earth are reminders of God. Like God, we can not touch, see, taste, smell, or heart these earthly elements…but we can always feel them.
How do you explain feeling GOD in your life to someone that doesn’t believe? You don’t, you can’t…only God can…and the ironic thing is once you have God in your life, there is nothing more strong, more obvious, more tangible, because God is in everything and God is in You. God is in YOU already, do you feel the stirring? Do you hear him, do you know his grace? Ask him in your heart and he will dwell there for forever.
Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
