poem: unforgiveness

bricks1

Unforgiveness!
bondage

unforgiveness
bondage

unforgiveness
Bondage!

Bitterness

Detatchment

Loneliness

Hate

God speaks to me, “What in Lucifurs’ dwelling are you doin’?”

Well, God see I am building…

I am building a shelter

I don’t want exposure

I don’t want hurt

I don’t want…

to forgive…

Child, let me tell you something.

Your shelter is nice and all…

But..

Once you enclose yourself

I can’t see you

I can’t touch you

Others can’t see you

Others can’t touch you

Where is the love in that?

But Father…I don’t want to hurt

I don’t want pain.

God shines his light on me.

Where is your light child, where is your light?

Is it under a rock?

Um…no its in me, its in my heart…

Well how can your light shine when you are sealed off in your fort?

How can you love if you have all of these barriers?

How can you live my will with all of this bondage?

God..I see the light..Thank you, God thank you!

“Well, renew my spirit!”

I thank you God for forgiving me and showing me the way.

I started exercising forgiveness daily,

I show my love for others,

I break down those barriers that try to bind me,

I fight the bondage

I forgive so that I am forgiven

I love so that I am loved

I am blessed to be a blessing

I offer freedom so that I am free

I destroy my shelter

And I ask that you destroy yours too

Forgiveness…
is humane
Forgiveness…
is freedom
Forgiveness…
is a manifestation of God’s perfect love.
